Okay so as you all know, I was in a house fire not too long ago. Even now Im still getting comments on it and people feeling bad and stuff like that. I am just on here going to explain something to everyone. Most people say they cant imagine what Ive gone through and some people say they can only imagine. Well what happened to me, happens a lot in the U.S. and theres a lot of people out there with different stories. Mine is very different. I usually dont like to talk about the fire but I decided I would put my story up and let people know what happened.
It was around 10:00 p.m. and I went to bed to be rested for school the next day. I think a lot sometimes before I sleep and ghat night I was thinking about what might happen the next day. I was thinking that I didnt want to school. I was already getting sick and I didnt feel good. I fell asleep and i really wasnt dreaming. Around 1:00 a.m. I woke up to my brother/daddy (dont remember which) banging on my door and the smoke alarm. I wasnt sure what was going on. I'm a very hard sleeper and I didnt hear the alarm. I was drowsy and I wasnt ready for anything I was about to go through. I couldnt see anything in my room because there was black smoke comming up under my door. I started getting scared and so I searched my floor for some shorts. I found my stewie boxers and I was wearing my superman shirt, no shoes or anything else. I grabbed my phone thinking I might need it and I got back on my bed and opened my window. I kicked out my screen which left me a cut on my leg. I got half way out and my door flew open along with a huge burst of black smoke. I heard my daddy searching for me so I went back in, I had cut myself on the bricks comming back in. I couldnt hear my daddy anymore so I went back out and I fell on rocks and got more cuts and scratches. I heard my mom screaming for me because everyone was out and they didnt know if I was. My daddy was still inside looking for me. I screamed saying I was back there because I was panicing thinking I wasnt going to get out of the locked fence. (someone had tried to steal our dog before and we kept a lock on it) the fence was too high for me to get over and I was stuck back there with my dog chip. I was scared to death and I was crying. My brother popped up climbing the fence and yelled to my mom that I was back there. She screamed for my daddy and he rean out. He was prepared to stay in there and look for me until I was found. He found the key and unlocked the gate and I ran out. the fire was on the end that I was on and I ran past it still crying and coughing from all the smoke. My legs were hurting and bleeding. We stood at the end of our driveway watching our house burn. I was freezing cold and it was raining and I couldnt really feel anything but pain in my legs and my heart. My family and I were stuck outside watching it burn until the fire department arrived. It took them 4 hours to get the fire out (maybe longer) We left the house at around 6:00 a.m. and we were on our way across townt o my grandmas the whole car in silence.
